Matt Hoerr is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Golden, CO who attends Arvada West. XL lean and athletic frame, naturally long levers that will still hold more size. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, full wind-up from the first base side of the rubber, hands start face level then work to the belt, sidestep to belt high lift, full arm action to a three-quarters release, works inline down the slope, clean arm action and should add velocity, big depth to 2300 RPM curveball that landed in the zone consistently, worked a fading change to left-handed hitters on numerous occasions with success, firm life to the heater up to 80-mph, labored some in second inning but got the outs, three pitch mix projects nicely. Secondary outfielder, developing coordination here in the grass, accurate arm, footwork can be polished, one hand gather to side with small crow hop, PO type actions. Right-handed hitter, even stance with flexed knees, simple stride out, some present bat speed, foot can be late getting down, some balance, middle field contact, tools present here. Very good showing on the mound and should add velocity with more conditioning and muscle. Outstanding student. Named to the 2024 Colorado Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
