Colton McCaleb is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Mason, MI who attends Mason. A strong and physical frame with present strength. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Left-handed hitter with an open setup and an inward leg lift, turning hard through contact with good bat speed and whip. Showed an efficient and direct swing path, creating loud impact and using the whole field with good strength. Found barrels consistently and drove the ball with authority, particularly to the middle and pull side. Worked out in the outfield, showing clean glove actions with a lower three-quarters release, carrying throws well with speed through release and a crow hop into it. At first base, worked through it cleanly with a higher slot, making accurate throws with solid carry across the diamond. Also pitched left-handed, working exclusively from the stretch with a leg lift to the chest and clean, on-line arm action. Worked from a high three-quarters slot, showing good feel for a three-pitch mix. Fastball topped at 85 mph, showing quality arm speed, pounded the zone effectively, and mixed in a curveball with good depth and a straight changeup for strikes. Named to the Top Prospect List at the 2025 PG Michigan Indoor Showcase.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
