Burkon Beus is a 2027 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Syracuse, UT who attends Syracuse. Features a medium sized build with some noticeable athleticism and projectable strength. Ran a 6.76 60-yd dash. In the OF, waited back a bit in his approach with some slow down into reception. Fielded off the wrong foot but mostly clean. Arm showed medium length to an over the top release where he worked into throws with some quickness. More uphill type throws with avg. strength for his level that were accurate one-hops to the bag. At the plate, operates from a slightly spread and squatted base with barrel flat to shoulder. Smaller take back of the hands and a simple lower-half move. Bat path works more direct and handsy. Noticeably stays inside it with flashes of strong hand speed supplying a bit of bat speed. Produced a couple of hard back spun liners but also some deeper POCs caused some jam shots. Mostly accurate barrel though throughout BP round. More LC-middle approach. Creates some leverage with his lower-half.
