Nick Wright is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit. Physical young build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright and slightly open stance, high hand load with a quick leg raise timer, collapses into his lower half and creates an uphill swing plane, has some strength when on time and good power potential. 7.72 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, tends to wait back on the ball with developing footwork into his throws, made accurate throws, more carry there with improved footwork and actions. Also worked out at first base. Took a turn on the mound, works from a simple turn and throw delivery with belt high leg raise, drives his lower half well to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 70's with occasional cutting action, still developing the ability to repeat his delivery and throw strikes. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
