Lucas Morrison is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Palmdale, CA who attends Undecided. Features a medium build with room to add. Worked out in the outfield. Charges the ball hard. Still developing ability to maintain body control throughout the approach. Showed the ability to catch the ball consistently. Throws using a long arm action with moderate effort. More arm strength should come down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wider base stance. Collets weight on the backside well using a toe tap timing mechanism. Stays through the ball well using a linear path. Can go the other way. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a short arm action. The fastball got up to 63 mph with slight sinking action. Locates the offering to the bottom of the zone well. Paired it with a slider at 52-54 mph with short, downward action. Still developing overall bite on the offering. Very good student.
