Carson Roy is a 2027 OF/UT with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Rock Hill. Medium young build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.72 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves through the ball well and fields it cleanly, good transition into his throwing, over the top arm action, makes accurate one hop throws, looks like there is more arm strength there with adjustments and maturity. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a rock back load and forward stride into contact, high hand load with a barrel wrap start, turns hard and creates barrel whip and bat speed, drove the ball hard to the pull side and mid field, stayed on time and on the barrel, projects well as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. Good student. Named to the PG Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.
