Walter Unruh is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Kingsburg, CA who attends San Joaquin Memorial. Medium athletic frame. In the outfield, he works through the ball well with direct footwork. Fields out front and dleivers downhill with carry and accuracy to both bases. Functional approach. Right-handed hiiter, wide base, rigid set up and high back elbow. Very strong lower half that he engages to generate a power of the above average power. Uphill launch but gets the barrel extended to impact it in the air to all fields. Tons of visible intent throughout the round and on the barrel a bunch. Solid showing landed him on the 14U Northern California All-State Top Prospect list. 7.05 60-yard. Outstanding student.
