Timothy Manning is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Columbia, SC who attends Ben Lippen. Tall and lean athletic build with lots of time and room to fill in and get stronger. Works from a full wind up with a 3/4's arm slot, has good tempo to his delivery and repeats well out of the wind up with less consistency from the stretch. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, has been up to 82 mph this summer, gets good ride at the top of the zone and some cutting action down. Threw both a curveball and slider but the slider was a much better pitch at present. Showed lots of confidence in his change up and threw it effectively at any time in the count. Projects well on the mound. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, has young actions, is tentative to the ball and stops his momentum to throw, arm works well with some carry. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium open stance, rotational swing, is looking to pull but tends to get the barrel into the zone late. Good student.
