Cody Coffey is a 2028 RHP/OF/C with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends Oceanside. Features a lean frame with room to add. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield. Showcased tentative footwork into the catchpoint. Fields off to the side consistently. Throws from a lower slot with developing arm strength and accuracy. Reached 73 mph during workouts. Switch-hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance. Swings on a downhill path with weight on the front foot. Stays directional with the ability to handle the barrel at times. Approach works through the middle of the field. Mirror the swing from both sides of the plate. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery with drop and drive mechanics. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Inconsistent arm action hinders arm timing at foot strike. Fastball sat 70-73 mph. Paired it with a curveball at 63-65 mph showing downward action. Still developing overall sharpness to the offering.
