Mason Schneiweiss is a 2031 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Freehold, NJ who attends Colts Neck. Smaller, slender frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Recorded a 10.04 second sixty. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporated deliberate footwork throughout the process, displayed a fairly clean funnel out in-front and worked through the baseball with some pace. Produced fairly accurate throws with developing arm strength up to 59 mph across during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with slightly higher leg lift into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball peaked at 58 mph from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Repeats delivery well, around the zone with the fastball and showed developing feel for spin with ability to land it for strikes when thrown with conviction. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open base with a compact handset and slight weight shift into contact. Mostly middle-of-the field approach with best impact to the pullside, fairly consistent contact. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
