Dylan Earnhardt is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Winston Salem, NC who attends North Carolina Leadership Academy. Medium build with some present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium and slightly open stance with a good handset and some rhythm into his swing, short stride into contact, line drive swing path, mid field to opposite field contact, can improve in getting the barrel into the zone on time. 8.76 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has step by step actions to the ball, calculated glove work and looks the ball into his glove, stays back on the ball and works behind it, has some young arm strength across the diamond. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a high leg raise start and a long stride down the mound, tight 3/4's arm slot with an abbreviated arm takeaway. Fastball sat in the mid-70's and topped out at 76 mph, has an idea how to work the fastball to both sides of the plate while getting some running life. Turned over his change up well with full arm speed. Also threw a soft short downer curveball. More advanced on the mound at present. Excellent student.
