2025 PG New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Dominic Clary is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-9 171 lb. frame from Mechanicville, NY who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Medium young build with long arms for his height. Works from the stretch with a belt high leg raise, long arm takeaway in back with a low 3/4's arm slot, maintains his direction well and gets over his front side. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with heavy run and sink and good feel for the strike zone. Slurve type breaking ball had good depth and late breaking action. Change up had some fade and run in the low 70's. Three-pitch lefty with command and a breaking ball as his best pitch. Played the outfield when not on the mound, arm showed well from a higher release slot than on the mound but still developing feel for fielding the ball. Left handed hitter, starts from a slightly open base with a short stride into contact, has some hand quickness and develops bat speed, hard middle of the field line drive contact, has hitting potential. Excellent student. Named to the New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
