Ryan Hamer is a 2025 2B/3B/IF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Waxhaw, NC who attends Weddington High School. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, stays light on his feet and has a good first step to the ball with some lateral range, gets the glove down early and works behind the ball well, low 3/4's arm slot fits the position well, enough arm strength for the position. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance with a static low hand load, stays on his back side, contact oriented swing with mostly opposite field contact, keeps his approach simple and executed it in the game. Good student.
