Owen Williams is a 2028 1B/RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Richmond Hill, GA who attends Richmond Hill. Large, broad shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned well throughout. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands into a clean funnel, compact arm action into a high three-quarters release point, accurate throws out of the hand to the intended base, turns well around the bag in footwork. Also pitched, leg lift up to belt, longer arm action through the backside into a high three-quarters release point. Lands on line towards the plate in finish, fastball topped out at 76 mph with short sinking life down in the zone. Pitched to contact and filled the zone, curveball shows 11-5 shape up to 62 mph, can maintain arm speed moving forward, mixed a slider as well up to 69 mph; induced ground ball contact. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and balanced base in the box, looks to incorporate strength and size into swing with a leverage path through the zone. Ball jumps off of barrel when squared, recorded an 85 mph exit velocity in testing, occasionally gets uphill and can maintain backside through the point of contact. Named to the 2024 14U Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
