Gio Brennan is a 2029 OF/RHP/1B from Meridian, ID, attending Mountain View High School, with a lean, athletic 6’1”, 170-lb frame and plenty of room to continue developing. He's a 7.29 runner in the sixty. He is a good overall athlete and a smooth mover. He has a very clean, repeatable delivery on the mound with a compact arm action to an extended high three-quarter arm slot, and shows advanced feel for commanding the fastball early in counts. He consistently lands a soft breaking ball for strikes, showing developing depth and solid tunneling off the fastball. His ability to repeat his delivery and throw strikes points to strong pitching upside as he matures. Defensively, he profiles as an athletic outfielder with good feet and sound fundamentals. He fields the ball out front and moves well to the baseball, showing body control and confidence with consistent, reliable actions. At the plate, he's a right-handed hitter with an even base and a simple, repeatable swing. He shows developing bat speed and the ability to produce line-drive contact, with offensive upside tied to added strength and continued refinement. Great student.
