Mac Stroud is a 2028 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Primary OF with a lean and projectable frame. Works to the ball well under control with good footwork and angels. Fields it out front off his foot and gets to the ball quick. Has a quick transfer and release and was accurate with throws. Will need to continue to add strength and develop arm strength moving forward but has the fundamentals down. Also played infield showing some actions here but more comfortable in the outfield. Also pitched working up to 72 with his fastball and located well. Showed excellent feel for the curve spinning it well with heavy 12-6 shape and landing it for strikes. Good feel to locate this pitch and should continue to polish it out. Also played outfield working to the ball just fine and under control. Developing arm strength overall. Good footwork in the outfield and moves well and gets the ball out with pace from a quick transfer and release. Accurate with throws but developing more arm strength. Right-handed hitter with an even base. Gets stuck in lower half at times. Inside out type swing and uses a short stride out into contact for timing and rhythm. Developing strength off the barrel. Excellent Student.
