Jackson Reid is a 2025 RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Waterloo, ON. Large, projectable frame with square shoulders and long limbs, room to fill throughout moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, works with an abbreviated windup on the mound, engages lower half and remains on line down the slope well; slight pause at bottom of arm swing, full through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, occasionally gets inconsistent with release point, shows running life when on top of the ball, velocity projects with added arm strength. Filled the strike zone and worked in on left-handed hitters; slurve action finish on slider up to 63 mph, show comfort to double up on the offering with confidence. Named to PG CPBL Fall Top Prospect List.
