Ben Goodacre is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Ancaster, ON who attends Ancaster HS. Long and wiry frame with long limbs and lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Threw exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift up past the belt with a long whippy arm stroke. Plus arm speed with big separation and topped out at 94 mph on the bump. Fastball was explosive with significant carry. Recorded up to 23" of IVB with the heater and got a number of empty swings under the pitch. Lands softer low-70s curveball for strikes with good depth to it. Slider is a flat sweeper with up to 14" of sweep on it. Changeup gets good action when pronated and can be thrown for a strike. Full four pitch mix with the arm speed to project on. Outlier fastball quality and can get outs with that pitch alone. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to West Virginia.
