Giancarlo Sortino is a 2025 SS with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Aurora, ON. Features a long, lean build with room to add. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showcases sound fundamentals on the dirt. Hands work through hops with the ability to catch balls consistently. Has solid range in both directions. Threw 79 mph across the diamond with more coming down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even stance with a wide base. Stays balanced well throughout simple timing mechanism. Shows the ability to get the barrel on plane early with good extension out front. Projects well for more power as strength gets added to the frame.
