Tyler Strongman is a 2025 C/2B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Prairie Village, KS who attends Shawnee Mission East. Strong prototypical catcher's build. 7.60 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and has good lower half flexibility and actions, blocks well with solid fundamentals and technique, quick exchange on his throws, replaces his feet well, short and compact arm action, made very accurate throws, is a good athlete behind the dish and has been well coached. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a big shoulder turn to start his swing, has a level and direct swing with consistent gap to gap contact, has the strength to create some jump and carry at times. Excellent student. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
