Gibson Jones is a 2025 RHP/3B/MIF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Monroe, NC who attends Weddington. Long and lean young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Has a compact arm action that hides the ball well, high 3/4's arm slot, gets on top of the ball well at release, has plenty of arm speed with more to come as he gets stronger. Sat in the mid-80's with his fastball, topping out at 86. Had outstanding spin and feel for his breaking ball with 2600+ spin rates and the ability spot it and change the shape. Good bet to keep adding velocity. Named to the National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
