Matthew Judge is a 2027 MIF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Plainedge. Lean young athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a toe tap tripper, rotational upper body swing, tends to lag his barrel through the zone due to an early front side, mostly opposite field contact. Primary middle infielder on defense, has a good first step and showed range from side to side, long strider, clean hands on the back hand, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot with a clean and projectable arm action, profiles at second base moving forward. Took a turn on the mound, has a high leg raise delivery with some coil over the rubber, has a compact arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot. Threw strikes with a low 70's fastball that topped out at 74 mph. Slow curveball had lots of 11/5 depth and produced weak swings. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
