Gavin Rolando is a 2028 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Woodland Hills, CA who attends Chaminade College Prep. Medium size frame. Ran an 8.01 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a side set up, online footwork to throw, compact transfer, moves efficiently and shows solid average arm speed for the age. Hit form a narrow stance with a blend of strength and bat speed in the swing. Some extra moving parts with a level bat path and all fields approach. Showed fastball and curve on the mound out of a clean operation on the mound. Fastball worked in the mid 70's and curve has 11-5 shape with average depth. Showed some feel to pitch throughout his outing. Very good student.
