2025 PG Sunshine West Showcase (National Showcases Qualifier)
Luke Crysler is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Primary Catcher with good athleticism behind the dish. Slightly open feet starting position. Gains ground through the plate. Showed a clean transfer and releases and was accurate with his throws. One hop accuracy to the bag. Showed good arm strength and whip to the arm. Was up to 75 from behind the dish and recorded a 1.95 pop time. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Still hands on the load. Uses a small leg lift and stride into contact for timing and rhythm. Showed good impact to pull-side but could pepper it the other way when needed and can use the entire field. Power will play to pull-side mainly. Produced an exit velo of 85. Also ran a 7.35 sixty. Named to the TP List. Excellent student.
