James O'Connor is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 201 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, SC who attends Oceanside Collegiate. Strong frame with present strength and good twitch to his overall actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Primary position outfielder, working methodically to the ball fielding the ball square with one hand glove work. Deliberate transfer through the midline as he works through a deeper inline path creating feeds up to 80 mph back to the infield. RHH working from a narrow stance, sitting strongly into base with a good handset to start. Bigger hanging leg lift causing him some timing issues early. Some length to the swing and strength at impact just needed a bit more consistency on the barrel. Plenty of projection here and elite performer in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
