2004 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Fernando Serrano: Serrano is a slender outfielder from Long Island. His best tool is his speed and the way he uses it. Serrano isn’t quite strong enough to handle wood right now but he runs the bases with quickness and skill once he gets on. Serrano also chases the ball down well in centerfield and shows good MIF actions. He does need to work hard to gain strength to play at the next level but he has the speed and quickness to do it. If he develops physically Fernando should develop gap power at the plate. Right now he's a contact hitter who uses all fields.
