Sinks in delivery after leg comes downhill. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Fastball worked up to 82 with 4-seam movement. Heavy fastball usage and filled up the zone working away from hitters mainly. Could elevate the fastball effectively and got swing and misses up. Went to a change in the low-70s and kept it low. Developing more feel for this pitch. Went to a curve with some depth but will need more polish and feel. 3-pitch mix that projects to get better with more polish and usage. Also played outfield fielding it out front and working through it a good bit. Carried momentum well and throws came out easy from a loose and long arm action. Higher slot release. Good strength behind his throws and was accurate around the bag. Up to 83 from the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and pretty upright stance. No real stride into contact. Showed some good bat speed from a coiled load. Could impact it hard to pull when on it and on time. Line drive hitter with strong pull-side impact.. Good Student. Named to TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
