Teagan Reininger is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Brighton, CO. Features a taller/slender build with plenty of room to add. Ran a 7.68 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed quality footwork. Moves with intent and quickness through his approach but rawness to the glove actions. Showed a stronger arm across the diamond for his level with accuracy. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance that is pre-engaged with his backside. Uses a smaller leg lift trigger with a smaller takeback of the hands. Hands showed quickness in throwing the barrel but on a steep/pushy path through the zone. Some swing/miss and timing inconsistencies during his BP round but found a couple solid pullside barrels. On the mound is where he showed his most prominent upside. Showed good rhythm and tempo through his delivery working with quality quickness and force throughout. Repeats and works on-line with a good block at finish. Arm works loose/continuous in the back and up to a H 3/4 slot with present armspeed. Produced a ton of in-zone late whiffs off his upper 70s fastball. Mixed in a shorter developing breaker in the low 60s that he could land for strikes and produced some buckled takes. Named to the Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
