Camdyn Hargett is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Waxhaw, NC who attends Metrolina Christian Academy. Medium current frame with some wiry muscular strength and good athletic overall actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Primary position IF, working through reps with some hop in his step, creating proper angles and showing solid feel for the glove. Quick midline transfer and fast release helping speed up the game nicely. Compact arm action producing accurate throws up to 68 mph across the diamond. Can see this being a solid spot for him longterm. Reps in the OF as well, using deliberate footwork to ball and deep transfer to full arm path. Arm played up to 74 mph here. Secondary RHP, working exclusively from the stretch, setting hands at the chin and breaking into a deep inline path. Over the top arm angle showing some hand quickness. Will tilt torso away from his arm creating some cutting action to his FB that was up to 77 mph with lower, spin traits creating some sink. SL profiles as a legit power breaking pitch longterm, showing good spin and shape already. Competes in the strike zone and shows plenty of projection here. RHH working from an even, balanced stance and small leg lift to get process started. High hand set and high back elbow leading to steeper path to ball. Plenty of hand strength and when on time and on plane there is juice at impact. Just needs to stay on ball and pepper the oppo gap. Lots of projection here as a two-way athlete for as long as he wants to do both.
