Antonio Testa is a 2027 1B/RHP with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Salem. A bigger frame and bigger build. Ran an 8.21 60-yard dash. A primary first baseman who worked out at the position, fielding it up the middle, showing off a longer arm action working through release. Loose arm working through it with throws at 75 mph across the diamond. Moved well laterally and had a clue for the actions with accuracy to the bag at third and good feeds to second as well. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with slightly open feet, high-set hands, a higher back elbow, and a bigger hanging leg lift trigger. He was able to lift the ball backside and impact well, working back up the middle. Showed some strength with developing physicality. Had some juice working pull-side that showed during his round of BP swings. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. A right-handed pitcher with a leg lift to the waist with some coil to it. He landed on-line with the plate and showed a longer arm action working through release, pitching from a medium three-quarters arm slot. He worked 76-79 mph on the fastball and had some occasional arm-side run to the pitch. Flipped a breaking ball in the low-60s with developing shape and depth to it as well. Great student.
