Hayden Jenkins is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Carrollton, OH who attends Carrollton. High waisted athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Has a fast paced delivery on the mound with a cross body landing and release out front, works from the stretch, delivery has lots of deception and hitters don't see the ball. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, velocity plays up with the deception, big tailing action to right handed hitters at times. Curveball had very good spin and sharp biting action at times, big two-plane break, hitters were consistently over matched by the fastball/curveball combination. Still developing feel for his change up. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, has a long and loose arm action with good carry on his throws, solid fundamental footwork and glove positioning. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a bent knee load, swings hard and has some bat speed and jump off the barrel, looks to pull the ball and made consistent hard game contact. Two-way potential as he gains velocity on the mound and strength at the plate. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
