Chase Ashley is a 2027 RHP/UT with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Discovery Canyon. Lean, projectable frame. Ran a 7.28 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from the belt, transitions into a clean and repeatable operation, true three-quarters arm slot, two seam action on the fastball with some sink and depth up to 81-mph, tilt on the slider in the low 70's (1642 RPM), mixed in a low 70's change as well. Took reps in the outfield, double crow hops, up to 80-mph, one hand reception off to the side, works through the baseball well, solid actions and can continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, even base with high hands and a high back elbow, can grow into the frame for additional power, medium base with a rotational swing, solid balance and extension. Projectable prospect with some 2-way intrigue and a good frame. Good student.
