Alex Amato is a 2026 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Thousand Oaks, CA who attends Thousand Oaks. Features a medium, slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.60 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showcased a patient approach to the catchpoint. Still developing consistent glove timing. Will get it down late at times. Range profiles best for a corner spot. Reached 67 mph on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Displays a simple timing mechanism with little movement pre-pitch. Swings on an uphill path with decent bat speed through the zone. Showed the ability to use the entire field. More power will come as strength is added and the swing mechanics are refined. Very good student.
