Gavin Bleyer is a 2026 SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Webster Groves, MO who attends Webster Groves. Works from a tall, lean frame with plenty of room to add strength as he continues to physically mature. Primary shortstop, gets a good first step on the baseball while showing the glove early. Funnels the ball smoothly and works into a shorter arm path. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond with arm strength up to 72 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an upright stance with a loose hand set-up. Utilizes a hover trigger for timing before working into an uphill bat path. Stays short to the baseball, creating both strength and leverage to both gaps. Projects for more power with added strength. Recorded an exit velocity of 77 mph. Ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
