Christopher Cantalupe is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-10 164 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NY who attends. Medium, long-levered frame with plenty of time and room to fill out. Recorded a 8.39 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporates belt high leg lift and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the upper-60s to low-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 72 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Showed promising command of the strike zone that will continue to improve with minor refinements mechanically and additional physical maturity. Mixed in developing breaking ball with 12-6 shape and gradual depth to it, will continue to improve the overall spin profile with additional velocity. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate pace to his actions into the fielding process, a deeper funnel to field and recorded arm strength up to 69 mph across the diamond during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even stance with lower hand set, high back elbow and small forward stride into contact. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to get the swing started, while exhibiting a slightly elongated swing path and mostly pullside contact. Developing bat-to-ball skills that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.
