Nick Federici is a 2030 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Dallas, PA who attends Dallas. Medium young athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. Recorded a 7.84 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher that works from a full wind up on the mound with a long stride and good extension out front, low 3/4's arm slot, has some arm speed for his age and lots of projection. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the majority of his bullpen, flashing plenty of arm-side run and life to it. Showed developing feel for spin with gradual 11-5 shaped curveball that will continue to improve with refinements and additional velocity. Completed three-pitch mix with a slower, fading changeup. Would like to see the changeup thrown with more conviction as he continues to add more velocity. Secondary outfielder that showed some fundamentally sound actions throughout the fielding process. Fields cleanly off his front foot with longer strides, while gathering cleanly and maintaining some momentum into his throws. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 71 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an extra-wide base with a high hand set, high back elbow and negative toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with present bat speed and impact potential as he makes proper adjustments to his swing. Creates some leverage with strong lower half and delivers the barrel with authority. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength.
