Kale Wright is a 2029 OF/RHP with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA. Features a medium sized lean build with room to add. Ran a 7.44 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed developing actions. Slower initial approach, not working with much intent. Stops into reception fielding a majority like an INF where he set a wide base and fielded with two hands. Then regathered feet and used a glove tap before working into throws. Medium AA from the OF where he got off uphill throws to the bag with avg. strength for his level and where he was 1-2 hop accurate to the bag. At the plate, operated from an open stance and used a mix of a toe tap trigger and hanging leg lift. Hands load back creating separation but gets into a slight arm bar. Tad long at entry with trouble staying inside of it. Later points of contact showing trouble releasing the barrel out front. When on-time produced quality middle of the field LDs/FBs but just inconsistent feel for the barrel and timing. On the mound, he side steps into a mid-chest knee lift. Creates some decent depth/drop his driveleg before working down the mound where he creates decent length and works over his front side. Medium AA out the glove working up to a higher 3/4 slot. Avg. armspeed for his level. Ran the FB up to 71, living upper 60s where it exhibited normal 4S shape. Mixed in a developing slurvy breaker with loose spin that varied in shape throughout his outing.
