2023 Northern California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Kaden Isola is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-3 205 lb. large athletic frame from Bend, OR who attends Bend Senior High School. At the plate he starts in a tall a slightly open stance and employs a toe-tap trigger mechanism. Has good presence in the box and looks hitterish. Used a pull approach in his BP round and showed the ability to square it up consistently. Produced hard line-drives back spinnings balls in the gap. Defensively uses the proper foot/glove mechanics approaching the ball. Showed the ability to pick the short-hop and deliver strong accurate throws to the bases. Turned a smooth double play and showed his athleticism fielding bunts. On the mound Isola works out of a full wind-up. Shows a repeatable delivery with simple mechanics and a shorter clean arm action. The fastball jumps out of the hand, has good arm-side tailing action and showed he was able to land his secondary offerings for strikes. Clocked a 7.09 60-yard dash. Excellent student.
