Mason Weise is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Cottage Grove, WI who attends Monona Grove. Large, athletic frame with a lean build and longer limbs, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, plays with some bounce in actions, longer release from a lower slot on throws across the diamond, mostly accurate on to first base, shows feel for actions and played game speed, will continue to refine. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, extra step into throw, longer arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point, deliberate tempo to transfer, shows accuracy to the bag with throws, clean arm path. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, barrel wrap with a deeper load at start of swing. Turns hard through the ball with an inward move, creates some lift to the middle of the field and shows ability to impact when squared. Longer stride into contact, creates lift at point of contact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
