Nathan Gonzalez is a 2028 3B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Strathmore, CA who attends Tulare Western. Works from a larger build with some present strength in the frame. Primary third baseman, works through the baseball with deliberate footwork and glove actions. Displayed a clean funnel with smooth transfers, delivered accurate throws across the diamond, recorded arm strength up to 72 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide base with a high back elbow, utilizes a subtle stride for a load and works into a direct bat path. Has present strength in the hands and created loud impact when timed up. Limited lower-half engagement, produced multiple line drives to the pull-side and middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.91 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U California Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
