Eli Egger is a 2029 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Assumption. Medium athletic build with some present strength for his age. Works from a square start and a full wind up, high leg raise over the rubber with some coil, long and loose arm action, has some arm speed from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked 79-83 mph, and he reached back to grab 84 mph as well. The spin was above 2,100 RPMs, and it had some sinker traits at times. He flipped a curveball in the low-70s with spin above 2,100 RPMs, showing 11-5 shape and depth to it. He also mixed in some low to mid-70s changeups, killing spin down into the low-70s. He mixed all three pitches well and was able to put together a good outing on the mound. He swings it from the right side with a wider and spread base, with higher set hands, a low back elbow, and a rocking move into it. He has a leg lift trigger as he rocks into it and shows a feel to throw the barrel head well and impact the baseball. He drove the ball back up the middle of the field well and produced some loud swings working backside. He turned hard off it and was able to lift the ball a bit out in front, showing some ability to loft it. He hit well in-game as well, producing a couple of hard-hit LDs. He also worked out in the outfield, throwing 83 mph from the position, with some feel to get to it out in front and work through release well. One-hop accuracy showed with lower flight on throws and good accuracy around the bags. He had some feel to work through the funnel and release well. He also threw 79 mph from the infield, working out at first base, with good feel to work through the fielding motion -- funneling into his throws. He had a longer arm action with a lower slot, keeping throws on target.
