Mason Flood is a 2026 3B/RHP/C with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Lake Mills, WI who attends Lake Mills. A medium frame with a lean build. Slender and wiry with some room to keep filling out. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman who worked out on the infield. He moved low to the ground with active footwork and some energy to his actions. He had quicker and choppy feet working to it, moving well, working up the middle. He showed good forehand glove actions and had a quicker release from a lower slot with accuracy across the diamond. He had some snatch to the hands. He threw 73 mph across the diamond during his round. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with a medium base and a slight drifting load onto the backside. He worked through the zone with a more linear path, showing some hand speed working back through the zone. He was able to be on the barrel with line drives working back through the middle of the field. He had some feel for the barrel and was rotational working through contact. He also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a sidestep into a leg lift up above the belt. He lands on-line, working downhill with some length down the mound. He had a lower sidearm slot. Drop-and-drive mechanics, working from the first base side of the rubber. He had a fastball that worked the low- to mid-70s with running action to it. He also showed a sweeper with good shape in the mid-60s. It showed a slurvy shape at times. He also showed a changeup with fading depth to it, working in the upper-70s. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
