Will Klein is a 2027 RHP/SS, IF with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Portland, OR who attends Westview. Features an athletic, lean frame with plenty of room to add. Showed some solid athleticism on the mound with a quick arm and throwing out of a mid three-quarters arm slot. Has a quick leg lift that stays belt high, into a drop and drive delivery with good extension to the plate. Changeup was his best pitch, showing tumble and the ability to locate it, as he will throw it in any count. Hides the ball well and keeps hitters off balance with a deceptive look and pitch mix. Athleticism from the mound carried over to his infield workout, showing good range and taking solid routes to the baseball. Works through the baseball with a clean glove and an accurate arm across the diamond. Traditional stance at the plate and stays on time. Has feel for the barrel and some present gap juice. Showed he can use the whole field with a consistent, balanced approach. Named to the West Academic Top Player List.
