2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Mason Eckhardt is a 2029 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Skyview. Lean and lanky athletic build with tons of physical projection remaining. Works exclusively from the stretch with a coiled leg raise over the rubber, deliberate pace down the mound, smooth and easy arm action to a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph with plenty more there as he matures, fastball had some carry up and cut down, can further develop his fastball command and consistency. Curveball was his best pitch, created tight spin with some sharp biting action, very projectable pitch as his arm speed increases. Also flashed a fading change. 7.71 runner in the sixty. Secondary first baseman on defense, has good glove actions and fielded the ball cleanly, some athletic bounce off the bag, moved with confidence. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a simple short stride into contact, repeated his timing well and handled the barrel, mostly solid middle of the field line drive contact but turned on a ball in the game and showed his power. Outstanding student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
