Bernie Amador is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-7 134 lb. frame from Novi, MI who attends Walled Lake Western. Recorded a 7.39 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a slender frame and young build. Clean one-hand gather working through the ball in the outfield with full arm action on throws. Some tailing actions on throws to the bases form a 3/4 arm slot at 73 mph. Fundamental actions with increased arm strength as he matures into his frame. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a tucked leg lift from the first base side of the rubber. Solid mechanics getting down the slope with max effort delivery in a straight line to the plate. Fastball up to 71 mph (1686 RPM) and curveball at 59 mph (1570 RPM) with a changeup at 64 mph (1291 RPM). Delivery should smooth out with added strength and increase the repeat ability to maintain release point. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and high back elbow slot. Slightly lofted barrel path through the zone with middle-field approach. Consistent contact with added impact as he gains size and strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
