Grady Seay is a 2030 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Richmond, VA who attends Collegiate. Smaller athletic mold. Primary catcher that sets up in a deep crouch with medium arm action and from ear release. Tends to get upright out of the crouch. All throws were around the bag. 2.06 pop. Left-handed hitter, narrow base, high back elbow, and medium leg lift. The stroke is short to impact and level. Hands rush into the loaded position. Results were contact oriented middle to opposite field. Could benefit from added strength but shows coordination in the movements. On the mound, its a quick compact stroke with well repeated delivery. Loaded up the zone with a bunch of strikes in the brief look. 7.11 60-yard.
