Emmet Arnott is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Santa Cruz, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned well throughout. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, sound prep step and gets low moving towards the ball, can continue to maintain footwork and momentum through release, hands play well out front, shows some carry and strength on throws across the diamond with accuracy to first base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium base and some moving parts to load but remains in rhythm, feel for mechanics and does a nice job of remaining on time and repeating. Creates some whip to the barrel head through the zone, incorporates natural strength well and able to consistently impact the baseball at point of contact.
