Leomar Gonzalez is a 2027 OF/ with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Kennewick, WA who attends Southridge High School. Features a taller/wiry frame with projection and flashes of athleticism. Ran a 7.34 60-yd dash. In the OF, he has a good initial approach getting low early. Some stiffness later in the approach but head is down with an out front glove at reception. Arm flashed above avg. strength for his level using a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws to the bag up to 80 mph. At the plate, he sits in a relaxed balance stance with loose hands. Simple process to the swing with his smaller forward move and takeback of hands. Hands throw a direct bat through the zone with flashes of above avg. barrel quickness. Creates good leverage with his lower half. Approach was consistently out front where he was on-barrel a majority of his round with line drives to the pullside. Easy to project more power with his frame.
