Brandon Gibson is a 2029 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Martinez, CA who attends Alhambra. Big and strong build for his age. Left handed hitter, starts from a narrow straight stance with a short stride into contact, has loose and easy hands and handles the barrel well, barrels the ball up to all fields, good swing base to build from, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets older. 8.61 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, fields the ball cleanly out front, throws from an over the top arm action, makes accurate throws, can improve his footwork and lower half agility. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard side step/leg raise delivery and 3/4's arm slot, stays on line down the mound. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Slider was his best pitch with good spin and some sharpness. Tended to slow his arm on a soft curveball and change up. Has some potential on the mound with his ability to spin the ball as a left hander.
