2024 High School All State Select Championship (2027-2028 Grads)
Griffin Gregory is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Lakeside. Lean frame with long levers. On the mound he operates froma stretch only operation with leg lift slightly above belt height. The arm path is clean working quickly through the three-quarters release. Can get stuck on the rubber some, lacking the drive to consistently get over the front side at release. Pitches to contact with the well commanded fastball and works both a changeup and softer 1-7 curveball off the fastball. Tunnels the arsenal well for the age. Projects well. In the outfield, his footwork is quick and direct to the ball. Takes an efficient first step with glove working out front. Arm action is short and produces carry that is better than average for the age. At first base, he moves around the bag well and gets himself into a good fielding position. Accurate throws to both bases. Left-handed hitter, slightly open base, small stride and high back elbow. Shows direct path with average bat speed. Lots of opposite field contact. 7.53 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
